Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, sacked a number of key Twitter executives after
assuming full control of the company on Thursday evening.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Twitter's CEO Parag
Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and director of legal policy, trust, and safety Vijaya
Gadde were all sacked. In relation to the amount of phoney accounts on the
platform, Musk has accused the three of misleading him and investors.

After being fired, Agrawal, Segal, and Gadde were taken outside, according
to sources familiar with the situation who spoke to The Washington Post.
Musk earlier declared his intention to reduce Twitter's workforce by
approximately 75%, from around 7,500 to around 2,000 workers.

The action followed Musk's $44 billion buyout of Twitter, which put an end
to a protracted saga that started in April when he first agreed to buy the
business. Musk withdrew from the agreement in July, claiming that the firm
had not given him enough information regarding bot accounts.
